The Liebster Award...Whoot!

I woke up to a wonderful surprise in my inbox this morning.  Ali from the Dream Crafter blog nominated She Runs for The Liebster Award.  Thank you Ali!  That totally made my day.  And I was thrilled to be introduced to your blog.  The design is awesome!  You have also inspired me to do a bit more posting and sharing.  :)

What is the Liebster Award?

In the blogging world it is an award for new bloggers who are just starting out. This award gets passed around by other bloggers who were nominated and they nominate other new bloggers. This helps getting the new blogs noticed. Pretty cool, huh? Basically, the purpose of the Liebster Award is to get blogs with less than 200 followers noticed.

What are the Rules?

1. Thank your Liebster Award presenter on your blog and link back to their blog.

2. Answer the 11 questions from the nominator, list 11 random facts about yourself and create 11 questions for your nominees.

3. Present the Liebster Blog Award to 11 blogs that has 200 followers or less whom you feel deserve to be noticed. Be sure to leave them a comment on their blog to let them know they have been chosen.

4. Copy and paste the blog award on to your blog. It is an award so show it off! Wink...Wink.

1. If you could marry any Disney Character, who would it be?

Peter Pan for sure!  He knows fairies, plays A LOT, and can fly.

2. In a street fight, who do you think would win? A honey badger or a bengal tiger? Why?

The Honey Badger.  Those suckers are MEAN and TRICKY!

3. What is your biggest guilty pleasure?

80's music for sure.

4. If you had 100 dollars to spend at a thrift store, what is the first section you would run to and why?

Either the books for art journals and mixed media projects, or the furniture.  I've been totally inspired to restore and repurpose old stuff lately.

5. If you could have the mind of someone famous, who would it be? 

This is a tough one.  I can't even begin to imagine having anyone else's mind but my own.  It would be terribly uncomfortable for me.  However, if I could hang out and chat with someone famous it would be Nikki Sixx for sure.  I would love to hear about his creative process and what inspires him.

6. What is your favorite quote from the Toy Story series?

"To Infinity And Beyond" of course!

7. What is your favorite crayon color (that has a weird name)?

I honestly cannot pick just one.  I love them all.

8. What is one thing you would collect if you had the space/money/time for?

Antiques!  Antiques!  and more Antiques!

9. What is the last book you read?

The Gifts of Imperfection.  Amazing book!

10. What is one of your biggest fears?

I absolute biggest fear is never fully living my dreams.  That terrifies me more than anything.  Which provides good motivation to keep moving forward.

11. Give three words that best represent your blog.

Unfinished - It will always be a work in progress, just like me.

Glimpse - It is a small glimpse in to who I am and what I do.

Practice - I am constantly practicing my "getting out there" skills. My blog provides the perfect place for me to do just that. I just don't do it often enough.

11 Random Facts About Me:

1.  Feet totally gross me out.  

2.  I find I'm getting younger with age, at least on the inside.  :)

3.  I am totally facinated with spirituality, metaphysics, different religions, and different cultures.

4.  I love to dance in my kitchen with my kids while I'm washing the dishes.

5.  The perfect weather for me is defined as jeans, tank top, and flip flops. 

6.  I'm curious about everything!  I have so many interests I have to pick a few and focus focus focus.

7.   I absolutely ADORE laughter!  My own and from those I love.  Nothing melts my heart faster than hearing my home filled with good honest laughter.

8.  I love the number 11.  Especially when it shows up on my clock as 11:11.

9.  I love love love to read.

10.  I am a total free spirit.  Gypsy soul to the core.  I can wander and never ever be lost.  It thrills me.  I get that from my Mom.

11.   And to balance out my gypsy soul, I can't stand being late.  Ever.  To anything.  I'm responsible to a fault.
